Closed Joint Stock Company (ZCMC) is one of the largest companies in Armenia and is a recognized leader in mining industry.

The Company mines and processes the earth’s mineral resources essential for making thousands of everyday products that meet society’s needs and contribute to improved living standards.

Kajaran Mine exploited by ZCMC is the biggest deposit in Armenia and the South Caucasus Region and is located approximately 4km to the south of the city of Kajaran.
The Kajaran industrial complex consists of a large open pit mine, a mineral processing plant and additional production supporting facilities, administrative buildings and other buildings with social functions.
Currently ZCMC employs around 4500 people.
According to the results of 2018 as well as the first 9 months of 2019 published by the RA State Revenue Committee ZCMC is recognized the biggest taxpayer in the Republic of Armenia.
